In keeping with the quick change theme, one Italian shoemaker – ACBC- has launched their long awaited Made2Share shoe. Marrying sustainability and fashionability, this unique design is made from organic materials that are biodegradable. But that’s not the real kicker! Not all is tense in the UK! The Royal Mail has announced it will be issuing a series of specialty stamps commemorating classic video games for its first collection of 2020. Eat Your Words!
A top contender for phrase of the decade must be “netflix and chill” – it sums up all of the exhaustion, ennui, escapism, and nebulous relationship status for most of us. Well, now you can slap a quality name brand on your sweet sidekick treat of choice, to share, or to drown your sorrows solo. Ben & Jerry’s has paired with Netflix to launch their latest collab. It’s name? Yup. Netflix and Chill. Inspired!

Fun and Games
In close, I wanted to share out a link to an incredible pictorial that ran this weekend in the NY Times. Photographers captured the unique games and rituals performed by groups of young multi-cultural girls on playgrounds across NY City. From the clapping games of Haiti to the foot stomping dances from Yemen, stories of villages, families and history from around the world are played out across the black top of city schoolyards all over the city. It is an incredible cross-cut of ethnography, sociology, femininity and joy in a series of snapshots of a single day.
