Money. Pleasure, or pain maker? For Millennials and Gen Zers, this has been a complex, and incredibly confusing challenge. To help PayPal develop an accessible and engaging future offering, we traveled the globe to unpack and explore money’s value by age, life-stage and socio-economic standing. People everywhere shared so much about fear, power, shame and the dream of control when it comes to finances. We also learned how deeply compassionate and knowledge-hungry young adults are today, with a huge desire to learn how to manage, and share their funds. Our work led to innovations around app fluidity, social sharing and education from the source. Because you can’t put a price on peace of mind.
